As Always Designs developed rather unexpectedly over a long period of time. As-Always.Org was purchased by me on December 6th, 2003. I'd spent numerous years before that building sites on Geocities and other freewebs. Eventually, I began to experiment with html coding and php scripts. However, in the fall of 2003, I finally hit the ceiling of what the freewebs allowed you to do and decided I wanted more freedom.

I moved my sites from the freeweb server to my very own domain, and since then, have been developing and learning more about website building and graphics.

When deciding on what domain name to chose, I ended up with 4 options I loved, one of which was 'As Always'. Every since I can remember, I've signed my letters, emails, and notes 'As Always'. When I was older, my mother mentioned that she thought it was funny that I signed things that way, when she had done the same her entire life. So when debating on the perfect name for my first domain, As Always just stuck.

After a few years of experience, my mother asked me to build her classroom's website. I was excited about building a site other than one of my own. I designed a Geography themed site that was easy enough to be updated by someone who didn't understand html, and yet looked professional. I was then asked by several other teachers to design sites for them as well.

Since then, I have built numerous other sites, both for friends or as a hired webtech, as well as become the 'Webtech' for the school that I teach at.
